Hours - 7am until last appointment
You do not have to have previous grooming experience. We are looking for someone who has a great love of animals and doesn’t mind getting wet and hairy. Many of our grooming technicians advance to stylist training.
This position provides grooming services, on-the-job training, customer service, and offers professional challenges and excitement with the stability that comes with years of successful growth.

Join our Kennelwood Pet Resorts team as a Grooming Technician which includes, but is not limited to, bathing & brushing, clipping nails, cleaning paw pads, anal excretions, bows & bandanas, brushing teeth, Healthy Skin & Coat Procedures, SHED-X™ & other new services, as introduced.
|Duties:||Safety is emphasized in all aspects: |
Pet handling procedures
Clipping and filing of nails
Sanitation and sterilization of equipment
Proper ear cleaning
Anal gland expression
|Qualifications:||A keen instinct for animal safety, proper procedure and loving commitment for the pets is also required. It is essential all are able to regularly stand for extended periods, able to walk dogs of all sizes on a leash, occasionally lift at least 40-60 pounds, bend, stretch and work in and around pet hair and dander. Must also be very observant, have strong decision-making skills and be able to work in all weather conditions, plus able to work in and around pet hair and dander. Prior experience in a veterinarian's office or hands-on work pet care environment is a PLUS.|
